Traffic Data
Each time a visitor comes to the Web Sites, Augie’s Quest collects some basic technical information. Augie’s Quest uses software to keep track of traffic to the Web Sites and acquires such information as the location from which the traffic originates, which particular pages within the Web Sites are being viewed and for how long. Augie’s Quest may know for instance, that there are 10,000 hits and 2,000 individual visitors to the Web Sites, but we do not know their names, addresses, or other personal or identification information.

International Privacy Laws
If you are visiting the Sites from outside the United States, please be aware that you are sending information (including Personal Data) to the United States where our servers are located. These countries (including the United States) may not necessarily have data protection laws as comprehensive or protective as those in your country of residence; however, our collection, storage and use of your Personal Data will at all times continue to be governed by this Privacy Policy.

California Do Not Track Notice
We do not track our customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. If you are visiting such websites, Safari 5.1+, Internet Explorer 9+, Firefox 5+ and Chrome allow you to set the DNT signal on your browser so that third parties (particularly advertisers) know you do not want to be tracked.

Are credit card transactions/information secure?
Augie’s Quest cares about the safety and security of your donation transaction, both online and offline. For online transactions, Augie’s Quest uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) through DigiCert to communicate with your browser software when you use your credit card on the Web Sites and thereby provide Augie’s Quest with credit card or similar information. SSL is the industry standard security protocol, which makes it extremely difficult for anyone else to intercept your credit card / transaction and order information that you send Augie’s Quest when you use your credit card on the Web Sites.

eNewsletters
Augie’s Quest offers a monthly e-mail service to those who are interested in hearing about the latest news about our events and research. These "eNewsletters" are strictly opt-in. You will not receive them unless you have voluntary subscribed to the service. If you ever wish to modify your address or unsubscribe, please send an e-mail to AQ@augiesquest.org.
